1. Sala Meza is available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktail parties. The room has a maximum capacity for 38 people seated or 80 for a cocktail reception.

2. Cost – Please note we do not charge room hire but set a minimum spend from which all costs incurred will be taken and any remainder will charged as room hire. The minimum spend is calculated depending on the date and time of the booking. Please ask for confirmation. All minimum spends are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% and exclusive of service at 12.5%.

3. Deposit - 50% of the required minimum spend is needed to secure the booking. Should we not receive this within 72 hours of making the booking, we reserve the right to cancel without notice. The following and remaining 50% is required ONE month prior to the booking date

4. Please be advised that your menu choice is required ONE week prior to your event. Should we not receive notification by this time, we reserve the right to choose a menu for your group. We are able to offer a vegetarian alternative subject to notice being given.

5. Final numbers are required by midday, 48 hours in advance. Please note that this is the number which will be charged to the final bill.

6. In the unfortunate circumstances that the Client has to cancel the confirmed booking at any time prior to the event, Meza will make every reasonable effort to re-sell the facilities on the client’s behalf. However, in the event that we are unsuccessful, Meza's Cancellation Policy is to levy the following cancellation charges which are payable within 7 days of the date of cancelled booking.

0 - 14 days in advance of event, 75% of the agreed minimum spend will be charged;
15 - 28 days in advance of event, the deposit will be charged;
28 + days in advance of event, no fee will be charged.

 

7. Customer account facilities can be established so long as there is a sufficient lead in time to set up an account. If credit is approved, the final account can be forwarded on after the event, provided that the standard Terms & Conditions have been signed and received by Meza. Payment is due on receipt of invoice within 14 days. Interest at the rate of 2% per month will be added to all overdue accounts, and will be calculated 14 days from date of invoice.

Cancellation should be advised to the management of Meza in the first instance verbally. The client should confirm cancellations in writing within 24 hours. If we successfully secure alternative business, a credit will be issued, at the discretion of the Meza Management.
Any credit due will be advised after the date of the event.

8. Unless a credit account has been established, the final bill is payable upon completion of the event. At this time, your deposit will be deducted.

9. Meza reserves the right to charge for any damages sustained to Meza property during occupation of the Private Room.

10. Occasionally, certain dishes and wines become unavailable at short notice due to difficulties of supply. In this event, we will contact you immediately to propose an alternative for your consideration.

11. Only wines or spirits supplied by Meza are permitted for consumption on the premises.

12. Meza reserves the right to request details of any person(s) employed by the client in connection with the event, such as entertainers or photographers. Any persons objected to by Meza shall not be employed by the client or any of its guests.

13. 17.5% VAT is included in all prices. 12.5% discretionary service charge will be added to your final bill.
